Thank you for your support of the National Capital Cup this year. You’ve added clear value to our membership, and we look forward to our community reciprocating in the year ahead.

Individual Donors to George Simpson Legacy Fund:

John Brooks served a vital role in the new NCASA mission. As a companion sailor and technical steward of our fleet, John ensures our vessels are as resilient as the athletes who sail them. Beyond his hands-on dedication, his tenure as Treasurer and his consistent philanthropic leadership have provided the financial bedrock of our community. John’s commitment ensures that economic barriers never stand in the way of the water. We are profoundly grateful for the energy and expertise in the past. We will miss you John and we wish you the very best in your future adventure in BC.

Peter Woods has served as a foundational pillar of the adaptive sailing community since 1998. As a preeminent Ambassador for the sport, Peter’s influence extends from local waters to the international stage, marking nearly three decades of service. Peters contribution to the National Capital region encompasses his technical expertise as a coach, strategic visionary and mentor. Furthermore, his significant philanthropic contributions have been instrumental in the sustainable growth of our organization. NCASA extends its deepest commendation to Peter for his unwavering commitment to inclusivity on the water; we remain privileged to operate under his continued guidance in the years to come.

On behalf of the Able Sailors, THANK YOU
